Apathy

Apathy Towards Growth!

Apathy towards Growth! Ever felt it? It’s not okay to experience it unless you have dementia. But you don’t and that would mean you’re just lazy! So, get up and get going.

No, I am not telling this to you. I realized something when I noticed one of the nails selfishly short enough as compared to others on my left hand. It corrupted the look (read as beauty) of my hand. LOL!

Well, this post is not about my nails or hands! So, coming to the point – you see, it takes all the fingers to give that good look to your hand (no offense meant to anyone). All of the fingernails have either to be short & clean or long & clean (and if ? then even better ?)

This relates to the teams and the organizations at large. They excel because of their people. For a team/leader/manager to grow, they need to ensure that all of their team members are growing. It’s always about a bigger picture as opposed to one person.

The point made above is not new to anyone. It’s a simple thing that we all already know. But, what’s essential is to carry it in our actions and intentions always. For instance, consider a family! What do parents/head of family aim for? Their intention and efforts for the whole family are a thing to draw inspiration from. They just never get lazy doing things for their folks.

If planned and executed with the same honesty, purity, and commitment by the leaders, there is no doubt, their efforts would be openly recognized by their team members. What could be more rewarding than it? I’m not trying to romanticize the comparison here but highlighting what’s essential.

BTW, this does not mean that I have forgotten about my fingernail. 🙂 It had missed some early on care for its growth. Just like the guidance/training and counseling is required by all the team members from time-to-time.

So while my short nail is getting some nourishment, my team at HireKul (-The Sheer Hunt-) is getting trained and practicing to hunt the talent like you for some cool opportunities.

Thank you for being a patient reader of this basic content.

Building And Staying On A Strong Foundation

Building And Staying On A Strong Foundation

It is imperative to understand how firm a foundation should be for any business. The word ‘foundation’ covers different characteristics on which a company stands. For some, it could define their ethical, moral values. For others, it could reflect a more tangible value for their business. In both cases, staying true to these characteristics is the only way to give shape and form to its growth. What you sow is what you shall reap!

Wisdom is in staying true to yourself and your business, no matter what the situation is. Sometimes, there could be a tricky situation where we find it easy to choose a shortcut or a path that deviates us from the core values of our foundation. It can lure you into quick gains; however, there could be a risk of losing it all. What you choose is what will follow!

Imparting the values you believe in, into your team is essential, else you will be rowing alone in a direction but against your team. Your team is the one delivering you the results. A big question – do they see and value what you want them to understand and appreciate? Communication is the key here. Effective communication can help bring two opposite thinkers to a mutual ground from where both can see ONE goal. The second is to have them achieve that goal in a way that favors your business. Their methods could be different and still accurately matching your business values. What you impart is what you will receive!

Reminder to self occasionally is essential. It’s like to revive that feeling when you first start in a relationship. Remembering gives you a good sense of what you wanted and what you have got. Similarly, going back to the basics and foundation of your business will make you think and work hard to keep its essence alive.

In the end, to err is human, but to correct is divine!
